Coast Connection Today 4/29/11

If they are doing it again, odds are they didn't feel it was a fiasco last time. They might actually have been patting each other on the back, saying how great it was that they got rid of so many pros. Maybe they feel they can get rid of a few more in May that they missed last time.

It seems to me that the "Fiasco" was a very small number of people being 86'd from the casino. If you consider how many people would have received and used those coupons, the whole "Fiasco" thing doesn't pass the smell test. I'd love to hear the whole story from someone who knew both sides and wasn't prejudiced to either one.

I'm not accusing any one of lying, but we all tend to put some kind of spin on things that happen, and if a wholesale 86'ing of AP's was taking place I think we would have heard more about it.

Regards

A.P.

That is my thought entirely. It's like those Dateline "catch a predator" stings. You really want to believe that the gorgeous 15 year old girl is lusting after your 50+ pot bellied self but your head knows you should stay away.

if a casino is sending out security guards and threatening players
with arrest simply because it doesn't like their play - routinely, as
a matter of policy - that's a fiasco.

i'm aware of one player who played at suncoast a total of four times
in his life, two of them on 10x days, no more than a few hours each
time and mostly on $2 machines. the last time he was there, he was
surrounded by security and 86'd.

he eventually talked to a suit on the phone. the suit explained that
since he "only" played on 10x days (false), he must be a AP, so they
86'd him, because that's how they handle APs.

best wishes,

five
