Harry's right, it's not to be abused. I do find the usual 2 hr limit
a little tite when we must leave to dress for dinner in a premium
dump, chew and swallow thru $200 worth of comps with a wait for the
table so, "Please take a seat in our lounge." Have cafe and afters
then dump $50 for servers as my share of the deal; drop by room to
let belt out a notch and sponge the Zin stain out. It's usually after
11PM by then so weeknights not too big a line waiting for most
machines. At vp bar just have friendly well tipped 'tender place a
reserved sign, but not too many nickles on credit meter! It helps to
be friendly with slot personnel as closing/opening deserves a tip,
itself. A hi level card works with Super if slotie refuses. I
ask, "May it shut it down to make our dinner reservations at 8:30?"
The worst situation is at a backed up, hi prog line up where a "Shut
down" gets a real glare. The climax is post prandial when it's been
hit and everyone's left for the next county. Get it opened, play the
credit to a win and think about that fine meal. Wouldn'ta been you

Closure, something we all seek
Did not follow thread, here's what happened at Harrah's Tahoe--
Elevator .25 JoB last May. 8-5 prog went to $2200,
making well pos with our situation. Played all afternoon, shut last
rt, inside machine down at 8PM. Finished up a Summit comp
and back at 11 PM. Hit $2500 RF :30 later. Actually made wife play
while I left for john down esc. All were leaving as I came back. We
split it, her play, my machine, I signed W2-G.
Diamond level, 5-star comp, magic words, but saw a couple do same to
use a free Pacifica coupon. If you don't ask... Jean advises. CD
