The closest game is Baccarat. The house edge is 1.06% on the banker bet.
Blackjack can be better if you have the right game and follow the proper strategy. For a non skill game Baccarat can't be beat.

Subject: [vpFREE] Closest 50/50 bet in a casino? There might be a good comp play here . . .

I'm trying to determine the closest 50/50 bet in a casino and I believe that
it is roulette, black/read (or odd/even). The place I have in mind is 0/00
but I think it might do . . .
In CA, some casinos have started to implement electronic versions of games
like craps and roulette. They've had "live" versions of the games but only
in a bastardized form of the original - craps in CA involves dice AND cards.
But the electronic versions are more "traditional" (at least on screen) but
they also have the added advantage of being able to use your club card on
them :). I played a few machines, briefly, this past weekend and I couldn't
detect a difference in racking up points whether I was using straight bets
or correlated bets like the black/red on roulette. If I'm doing black/read,
odd/even and playing all of the 3 sets (and high/low, columns, etc) I could
be racking up points in a flash, right?
What about craps? Is the pass/no pass about a 50/50 bet?
