Closest 50/50 bet in a casino? There might be a good comp play here . . .

Double zero roulette is 5.26% house edge. Obviously some VP has lower edges than that but the bet is not always returned at even money. FP Pick Em comes the closest to that. Some electronic BJ (BJ pays 3 for 2) is better but you still have double down, splits and BJs that will affect that. The player wins only about 47% of the hands so the double downs, splits and BJs are needed.

Craps, passline is 1.411% house advantage and don't pass (I believe) is 1.404%. Roulette, red/black is about 4% house advantage. I think bacarrat (SP??) is about 1% house advantage on some bets.

No, no, you guys are not understanding this properly. I can play BOTH red &
black on the SAME spin and get points on all my "coin in". Even with double
zero, playing both sides of black/red can't be an edge of 5.26%

Playing both red and black, you have a 36/38 chance of hitting either
red or black for a net push, and a 2/38 chance of losing by hitting green.
So on average, for every $38 dollars wagered you get $36 back, for a
return of 94.74% and a house edge of 5.26%.

There is no system of betting in roulette that can reduce this house edge.

This is true, but I'm working on a system that will increase the house edge. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to sell it to someone who really likes to gamble.
