Anyone stay at Circus Circus recently. Any comments on the rooms? (I
believe there is one tower that has been upgraded?) Food? (I hear
average/poor except for the steak house.)

I have stayed there twice in the past four months. These are the
only times in rooms there. Both times I was in the tower over the
casino and the rooms were adequate. Clean room, relatively
comfortable beds and everything worked.
I'm not impressed with the food there but have only eaten in the Pink
Pony coffee shop. Nothing really wrong with the food but it
lacked "inspiration", whatever that means.
The offers I've received resulted from play at Slot's a Fun. Initial
play probably wasn't more than $2000 coin-in during a drop in day.
That generated an initial offer for three free nights. After the
initial offer I began receiving occasional offers for two or three
free nights and, if I'm not mistaken, one tournament offer. What got
me in there was an offer for two nights, $75 in cash with additional
cash amounts dependant on the number of points earned during the
stay. I've had that offer twice and took them up on it both times,
playing just over $9000 coin-in during each visit. I am scheduled to
stay there again later this month on another cash offer.
