I used to believe that as well but since MGM Mirage bought the additional property am not so sure about that now. Would not be surprised to see then tear it down and redevelop it.

I think they bought the additional property to make it more attractive
to a buyer. CC is not included in the MGM advertising or player's
club. Too bad--guess locationally they're stuck with Excalibur, so it
gets included.
