Chumash Trip Report

Figured I'd waste a Sunday afternoon and drive out there as I had never been there before. I knew the vpfree report dated 2008 looked dismal, but often I have found playable vp in spite of vpfree reports. Not this time. The 2008 report is still accurate. This is the worst casino, vp wise, I have ever seen in my life. And I am pretty good about finding the ONE playable game in a casino, but I found nothing here. The paytables are atrocious. Not only that, but all the machines are 20-coin so anything played less than that is even shorter pay. I did find two Quick Quads for 10-cent and 25-cent. The best game on those is 9-5 DDB, nothing to write home about. However, compared to the rest of the place that is actually "good".

Even when general paytables are poor, one can usually find a little better deal in the High Limit Section. Not here! I kid you not, in the High Limit Section they have 6-5 Bonus Poker for $5-$10-$20.

Even the Sunday Brunch buffet was lousy. And I am not a picky person nor a big complainer. But this was just awful. The place looks nice, and I am sure it could be a much better gamble for your dollar, but apparently they believe in "butchering the cows" instead of milking them. Naturally, they are the only game in town, the nearest Indian Casino being many many miles away. By the way, the place was crowded.

Nice drive, very scenic, but lousy video poker. Proceed at your own risk.

Yup, I visited there once a few years back..TERRIBLE vp then, but it was PACKED (and this was on a sunday morning!)
Reminds me of a Harrah's...
