Hello again!
I have read in a few places both on this site and other sites, when learning and trying to hone vp skills, the beginning player should try and "master" 1 type of vp game like JoB before moving on to other games with more complex strategies. Is this sound advice?
Any and all advice and comments welcome!!

Yes and then you should learn the strategy for the game that you will be playing most frequently.

I would say learn bonus poker before jacks, just because it seems more casinos have 8/5 bp vs. 9/6 JoB...
