People come up to blackjack tables with strategy cards all the time and no one raises an eyebrow. They stop to consult it at every hand, and leave it sitting in plain view on the table.
I keep my Dancer strategy cards in my purse, and whip them out on the few occasions I need them. (Most of my Win Poker mistakes these days are careless ones where I know the strategy but play too fast.) In Vegas, when Deuces and 10/7 DB are relatively new to me, I held it in my hand but covered by my (small) purse so it was out of plain sight.

It is my understanding that some states do not allow any kind of
aid. If I remember correctly from a LVA board thread Illinois does
not take kindly to any aid, paper or otherwise. I am sure some local
rules exist in Native Casino situations.
I personally use my aids, including Bob Dancer card for DB, in
Nevada. I occasionally have used my aid without hassle in AZ.
So check the local rules, if in doubt.
