Now there's a point the guy who doesn't think human factors makes a difference might want to chew on. If you're at work, and your computer isn't responding the way you would like it, do you sit there like a dufus all day and whine about it--or do you use someone else's if there's an availability?
I do subscribe to the theory that the machine will eventually hit -
however, having said that -I have a rule about how much I will put
into a machine. I like you, have had many good hits on my first $20
to convince me that if I am not hitting after a $100 - I should go to
a different machine. Not because of the machine, its a computer, -
but because of what it is doing to me psychologically. I go to the
point where start to think the machine is "crashing " on me and I
should "reboot" it by just leaving & going to a different machine.
Weird thinking huh? I am a little "nuts" haha 
That is my view on it...
