I was told the merchandise awards based on lifetime point accruals
would end on 2/25, when the upgrade becomes operational. But they
also said they would continue to keep track of (and add to) your
lifetime points total. Presumably that statistic will be used some
other way after 2/25. But the question remains ... what happens if
you try to get some merchandise after 2/25 based on lifetime points
earned prior to 2/25? My impression was ... tough luck! But I will
check this evening to see if this is correct. This seems like a very
harsh policy that's sure to anger SunCoast players who live outside
LV and can't visit prior to 2/25 to claim their merchandise.
