Update to all interested: Valley View has finally started making
some good changes in the high limit area. All the machines on the
right side (as you enter the high limit) are now .50 cent or higher.
The only good plays are $1 and above but they finally took .25cents
off the SINGLE line Video Poker...Unfoirtunately that sent the .25
single line player and the .25 keno player over to the 5 nice new
machines on the left hand side of the high limit (where the 100 plays
are) - The only good games on those are $1 and above too but they
have good DB and WHA and a variety on the games worth playing;
problem now is $1 players can't get on those machines. I was told
that VV will eventually change those to .50 or higher but they should
have done them all at one time. The dollar players are getting
really irritated because they can't get on those machines (especially
during gold elite tournament days).
I did manage to find 2 all star machines that still has 16/10 NSUD on
the .25 cent level of spin poker but I think that was just an
oversight on the casino part and eventually it will get noticed and
changed unless people don't abuse them that know how to play. This
is the only casino I have ever been too where you could play .25cent
Single Line VP in a high limit area. I have played in a variety of
places and you can find .25 and higher on 3/5/10 plays but never a
single line. Not that anything is worth playing at the quarter level
single line machines but still...
Changes at Valley View again
Another change on the subject: All the machines that were changed to
be .50 or higher do have 9/6 BPDLX at the $1 or higher level. Only 4
use to before so it does give you a few more machines to choose from.

Does anybody know if all of the VP machines in high limit are excluded
from receiving the double points during the "graveyard shift" double
points promo? What about the 100-play machines in the non-smoking
section?

All machines with good games are excluded.

On the local TV news - they showed a clip of the official $100M
hotel/spa-suites groundbreaking (promising 100 new jobs),
project expected to take 2 years into 2011.
UGG - Sounds like construction will be going on for a while out there.
I'm pretty fed up with the crowds in that place.
I'd rather drive the 6 hours to NV!

All the $1 games in high limit get double points during the graveyard
shift. The only machines that do not are the 2 3/5 play that go up
to $5 and the 100 plays do not. The other multi line games do.
