According to mail received today, Orleans (and presumably the other
Coasts) are switching to a coin in system starting this coming Monday.
New cashback rate will be .1%, but they are giving triple points until
1/14/08. Current points in your account will be tripled, which of
course will bring them back to the .3% they were worth when you earned
them.

Will there still be a 2500 (or 7500 if all points earned are tripled)
point bonus at each place for earning at least 1 point in one's birth
month? If no one found this out in October, I may be the guinea pig.

---------------I don't know about the number of bonus points awarded,
but in September I read a sign in the Gold Coast promoting the birthday
points special. It indicated the points would awarded at one casino
only.
