Has anyone noticed an improvement in either Cingular or ATT
coverage since the merger? Is Verizon still the best choice here?
I'm thinking about changing plans and phones.

Cell phone coverage/reception in Las Vegas
We switched from Sprint to Verizon about 2 years ago. Sprint didn't
work well in LV, but Verizon works very well. It works almost
everywhere, even inside casinos and malls. It also works in northern
Idaho and the Seattle area.
We also like the "Choice" option where you have unlimited free
calling to anyone else with a Verizon cell phone. Both our kids and
some relatives and friends have Verizon, so we can talk as long as we
want ... and we do. It may be this option is now offered by AT&T,
etc. too (I don't know).

I use Sprint and get very good reception in most casinos. Reception has
really improved in the last 2 years. Used to have a problem with the
Excalibur but haven't been in there in over a year.
