CB- new Club VIP tier?

Has anyone else rec'd the May pcard (re-iterating what was already
listed in Apr-May mailer)?

Basically, it states that for MAY I have:

Complimentary Rooms, every visit in May (subj. to availability),
upgrades to a Suite (if available).
*Lol - I didnt' even know if the CB HAD suites!

Special Welcome gift and Basket, each visit in May;
incl. Complimentary collectible CB label wine.

2x pts on all 'slot' play (not sure if vp counts, but it probably would).
5x comp dollars for table play

Exclusive VIP Hospitality Service with 'savory and sweet' snacks in
the casino...

Bring a Friend (free room offers for them) in May

$20 Freeplay with every $1200 jackpot.

That's quite a lot, and I hope it continues for a while.

Perhaps May visitors and rooms not filling up?

Also - upon calling - I couldn't combine THIS offer with the other
that offered $50 in freeplay and $15 more in food, BUT marketing said
I was a 'comp B' level.

This sounds like the old daily meals comp system, but a different
version. I'm supposed to check in and see a host in May.
Then (supposedly), I can get meal vouchers or comp slips for a
certain' amount of meals each day of my stay!

Wow - this 'low roller', somehow has triggered a higher tier level
now. (If only my vp luck would swing back - I lost about $200-300
chasing the BP River Bar prog with a shortage of quads, which hit over
$2100.)

I'll post if I find something new, as I do also have $100 in freeplay
to use up next visit (in a week). Perhaps I'll visit a host and see
if I qualify for any DAILY free/discretionary meals or gifts, or
bonusing of pts.

Martin - who is starting to like CB-EW as a 2nd Laughlin home.

Martin, I have not received the postcard you mentioned, but I noticed
they added a few items that were not on my April/May mailer:

Bring a Friend (free room offers for them) in May

$20 Freeplay with every $1200 jackpot.

I booked my rooms for April, and I was told I was booked for a suite-
we will see. I sure hope I can get another dining card, as I have
been receiving those for several years now. I will be checking in at
the CB on Sunday. I will try to give a report when I return. When
were you coming?

I think we are trying to organize a get-together on Monday. So far we
have myself (Chris), Bluestreak and vpdeuces. Anyone else in town
next week?

I'll be coming AFTER you're there; maybe next time.
(arriving late Fri4/18 thru Sun - 2 pm'ish.)

I'll be back in mid-May (5/16-17), AFTER Mother's day weekend, but
BEFORE Memorial Day weekend.
Martin.
PS - I'd like to know HOW these daily/discretionary meals are supposed
to work; and do you need to maintain the 2000 pts daily?
(which I'd probably do, but on some of these short weekend trips, not
always possible).

Wife & I will be in Laughlin starting Sunday, working on the Full Pay
machines at ED and CB and also on the DDJ at GN. We play on the same
machine alternating play so we are easy to spot as Chris and Terry
know.

I'm looking forward to getting down there this Wednesday. Three RF's in Reno now, and
not one in Laughlin. But alas I'll keep trying. Be back home the day before the river run,
but the good news...I think I eat better down there than when I'm at home. Except the
Chili Cookoff this coming Saturday...(better stay away from that).

I finally got my postcard today. I guess because I'm Nanuck and live so far up in the
Northwest I'm one of the last on CB's mailing list. Even so the offers described on the card
do look enticing don't they. (BTW their suites are on the boat itself, up a couple of floors
from the casino.) I think it's "D" deck if I remember right. Anyway I've got a suite until
next Tuesday so I'll find out tomorrow. Too bad I didn't schedule this trip for May. With
the drawing and everything else described it looks pretty inviting.

Bob- No you are not the last to get mailings. My postcard for May
arrived today. I notice that I get my mail offers at least a week after
Dennis posts his offers.

I hope your trip to Laughlin went well, and sorry I missed you as our
trips overlaped one day. Chris
