BTW the mailer is good for Edgewater stays too. And the slot tourneys are actually AT the
Edgewater. The mailer didn't mention anything about free food so I guess I still have to work
on that.
CB Mailer
Bob- I have been receiving the dinning cards for several years now, and
they never mention it in any of their mailings. It was always given to
me when I check in. Are they still giving out the dining cards? I guess
I will find out, as I booked next week at the EW under their Club VIP
offer. The strange part about this I had to book this at the EW as they
sent out the offer, but I still do not have a slot card at the EW. All
my play under the new owners has been at the CB. All the extra perks on
this offer are at the EW, except the $50 in free play, and that one is
good only at the Belle. Strange offer.

Sounds good Chris. Stay in touch with us and let us know how that goes. I don't think I've
ever played enough to warrant a dining card until maybe just recently so maybe next time.
I'm thinking the next time I go down there I may book at the Edgewater. With the
exception of their bj (I think it stinks just as bad CB's does) I might be a bit more satisfied.

I will be returning Sept 26-27 for the finale dwg, just to see how it all turns out.
EW- NEW in SEPT: their "VIP" offer. up to 5 free nights,
incl. a nice gift basket (CB wine, vinted in Santa Rosa, CA - I didn't even know CB owned a winery)...., 2x pts, bonus freeplay.
Nice added amenity; DAILY 7-9 am, and noon - 2 pm,
free FOOD! Continental style bkfst (good fruits/muffins/ turnovers, and OJ/Coffee-water).
Lunch has a few hot appetizers - either taquitoes, or shrimp skewers, last Friday/Saturday.
mini - croisant sandwiches. Soda in chilled cans/ iced tea, or water/coffee.
For FREE DAILY, not too shabby! Since their 'comp'd pts for VP have gone south,
(.15% or less, I think), even on BP 8-5 games....this makes up somewhat.
However- the ROOMS still need to be upgraded, although they have been giving me river views lately ....

Thanks, Martin.
I had a river view room too, while I was down there. I could've had a boat room but didn't
want to wait for housekeeping. I wasn't as disappointed in the way my room looked as I
was with the hallway carpets throughout and the elevators. I guess that's why I'm curious
as to how the Edgewater compares.

Be sure to request a room on a high floor of the Sedona Tower. The
other rooms not in the Sedona Tower suck!
