So it looks like CB&EW have settled into monthly promos after that "Endless
Summer" one. It is "Trick or Treat" or "Turkey Shoot" for Oct/Nov. Drawings
on Tues/Sat only, two drawings in each house.
Question to you that are in good standing: Did you get a special offer for
these promos that included extra drawing tickets? Several of you got an
Endless Summer promo that included 50 bonus drawing tickets.
It is interesting how the value of a drawing ticket has changed over the year
or so of Marnell-Sher. These last three promos it takes 500 points ($667
coin-in) for a ticket. Last year at this time it was $134 coin-in for some of
the promos and $67 for the Monday Night Football ones.
But you still get a ticket for breathing. So being a warm body has alot more
value now. On tables, a $5 BJ gets you a ticket and a suited BJ gets you two
of them. This has not changed for most promos. So a pit drawing ticket has
increased in value four fold compared to machine play.
Has anyone seen a Trick or Treat drawing yet? It sounds like you win $100 or
$1000.
The Turkey Shoot one sounds like some of the ones done in the past. The past
ones had 15 squares with five of them "busts". The ten others had amounts of
cash totaling $1,500, but guaranteed $100.
This time last year we could double or triple dip promos. No MNF promo this
year. No scratcher to win. No long lines at the slot clubs.
