The Barona Valley Ranch web site is even more specific about
multiple cards. In the section on Club Barona Memebership details
they state: "Multiple cards may be isssued for members who want
to play multiple machines at a time. However, members distributing
their cards to players other than those registered to their account
may have their membership and all remaining cash and privileges
surrendered."I checked out the Colorado Belle and Edgewater on June 25th.
Many machines at the Belle were either being serviced or installed,
but their intentions were obvious. The change at the Edgewater was
complete with a new Access Card available. I am guessing the old
One Club card would work until July 1st. On June 25th they would
not give anything earned on the old card and a few people were
upset. However, I think that was temporary and that on July 1st
it would be possible to get benefits earned. I did not care. I just
over heard this coversation at the new card booth in the
Edgewater. I was not even tempted to get a new slot card at this
time.A look at the belle on June 28th showed most of "devastation"
completed at the Belle. I will be back to Laughlin soon and will
make a final decision about a card at that time. There is still
many playable options under a $1 at Harrah's and the Aquarius.
There is a little $.25 play at River Palms, Pioneer and the Golden
Nugget. I could not find anything full pay under a $1 at the
Ramada. I mostly play $1 or higher, but my wife and friends play
under a $1 so that is a significant factor where I play. Usually
I do not go as far as the Riverside. I do not like the casino very
much (smoke and crowded) and believe it has a few full pay machines.I am saying that Laughlin has not been devastated, just the
Edgewater and Colorado Belle. I do not know what my status is at
the Belle. I still have some 5 night offers. They usually came
with a suite and the white food card (full food and beverage). I
have no idea what I will get now, or if I even want to trysince there
are other Laughlin options. I am thinking of booking at least one
trip at the Belle to see what treatment I receive. Because of what
they did, I will obviously be forced to "stiff them" at least one
time. Maybe I should continue to do it until they downgrade me. Who
knows, that may have happened already. The entry card has been
mentioned as first issue to everyone.I guess that I am not too surprised and I will just adapt to the
new Lauglin environment. I have more than enough comped rooms
available at the Aquarius, Pioneer, Golden Nugget, Ramada Express.
And at Harrah's there are unlimited rooms. I also can book two
offers at the same time through a host. I needed to concentrate my
efforts better and this makes it easier. However, the "White Card"
was my biggest perk in Laughlin and it sure will be missed! There
is no way I will try to maintain it on their VP machines even if
the "perk" is still availableBob

Thanks for your viewpoint Bob. I think we are going to have to make you our
CB high-roller pointman to see how the marketing/slotclub/inventory evolves
under the new administration.
Hamstockman lives too far away to be a guinea pig. So let us know when and
what you book.
Hopefully the slot club really coughs-up 1.2% in banked cb/free-play/comps
for VP. This summer promo that I documented a bit requires a Labor Day weekend
stay to get any value.

Ramada Express quarter play- they still are doing quad sevens pays triple on
Bonus 8/5...a 100% base play...saw it June 28th.
"White Card"- yes I will miss that play. Hamstockman fed me at the end of
May several times, including the last supper on May 31st in the Orleans room.
Riverside- I never figured out their secret banked comp account. They still
had $1 NSUD in bartops (alot of them non-smoking) and those four quarter/half
good TITO Game Kings in the old north end by the escalators. They had some
clunkers left like Sigma DJ 99.6%, though look-out for decoys.
I find their old north tower rooms fun with the balconies and the third floor
pool. The Casino West parking garage makes for easy in and out to the north
tower. Their promos are straight-forward and fair for gamblers. No drawing
tickets for breathing, eating or sleeping anymore. They limit entries to like
50 tickets earned ($25k coin-in) per day too.
Golden Nugget- staying stable on the casino floor and marketing actually
moves them up in the Laughlin pecking order. They have the best stardard issue
room on the river, though suites what number four? The Landrys finally are
cutting us a break for food. Harlows, summertime midweek midnight to six am
specials are as strong as anything offered in the old coffee shop downstairs. We
are talking $1.99 Four Deuces breakfast and other deals. Saltgrass and Joe's
do off-hours deals too. The snackbar now opens at 6:30a.
I have been stuck on two bi-monthly comped nights with about $1k/month in GNL
action.
Harrahs- they discontinued the shuttle last July 1st, and I just don't get
down there like I used to. I might stop in as my first stop when hitting town
in a morning just to have a look.
Aquarius- they did the casino, but where are they on the rooms? Sold again
too.
