CB 2nd Annual Rockoberfest Oct 15-17th

The Entertainer has them doing this out front of the CB in the valet lot, like the Springtime Blues & Brews, music starts at 2pm all three days. They had a new cool quarter of a million portable bar out there in the Spring down at the far end. Seating for a couple dozen, overhead fans and flat-screen TVs to watch the game. I don't know if it will re-appear.

They list three bands and "others". A little Googling for the genre and pedigree:

Judge Jackson - classic southern rock. Will also be playing at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues Nov. 4th.

Neil Morrow Band- rockabilly meets Jerry Lee Lewis. Oct 8-9th, playing at the Silver Legacy in Reno.

Stoned Alice- Stone(d) Temple Pilots meets Alice in Chains. Someone has to help me with this one.

Others-?

The line-up/schedule should be table-tented.

The current edition of the Entertainer does not know which event to feature for this weekend. Micheal Bolton got the lead article. But Mel, the Chefs and Rocktoberfest also got some column inches.

The Rocktoberfest article now lists four bands in the daily rotation. At least two of them have been in Laughlin before, I never caught them in action.

As a side-note RP is doing another VP tourney and welcomes walk-ups. This time your $30 needs to be paid on Friday between 1-4pm, with play starting at 2pm. Last month's event was worth about $84 in equity. This time they want to feed us on Friday night, doors open at 7:30pm.

But which doors? Paper, plastic or china? Open or Cash bar?
