LVA Lite stated that the triple royal promotion from 6 P.M. to midnight
Saturday raises the return to 104.3% on 9/6 jacks or better.
The promotion does NOT apply to Jacks or better games, any wild card
games, or any mutli-line games. Also, it will run only until a total
of $25,000 in bonuses is paid (12 royals at $.25).
Minor correction: They do pay on multi-lines but just on the bottom line, or
the middle line in the case of Spin Poker.
GENERAL CAUTION ON PLAYING MULTI-LINES DURING PROMOTIONS
If the rules state that the bonus is paid on only one line & you have to make
strategy changes to achieve that bonus, then:
1. Don't play multi-lines such as triple play, 5-play, 10-play, etc. where
you can't take it down to one line with max coin on that line.
2. On 50-play, 100-play, etc. where you can take it down to one line with max
coin, just play the one line.
Reason: if you're going for the bonus & you make adjustments to maximize
strategy, then the strategy is correct for the pay line but wrong for all others.
In the case of royal chases where you make a lot of sacrifices to maximize
chances for the royal, the combined ER/EV (I can never get it right) will most
likely be negative.
