Casinos in the San Diego Area

What are your favorite vp games? The vpfree site (http://members.cox.net/vpfree/W.htm) shows the different games avail. three casino's closest to downtown are Sycuan (terrible vp though), veijas (has outlet shopping ) and Barona. My favorites are Veijas and Barona. Veijas has .25 full pay job which is a real treat in san diego! Barona had a good deal recently and is probably still in effect. Join the slot club and they'll cover up to $100 of your losses or double your winnings up to $100. All casinos have shuttle services. Check out their websites for help there. http://www.barona.com/ or http://www.viejas.com/

Hope this helps.

Subject: [vpFREE_California] Casinos in the San Diego Area

            Hi California Kids!

This is my first post on this forum. I just joined this

morning in anticipation of our trip to San Diego, the end of May.

We are going primarily for the Cubs/Padres series, and will be

staying downtown at the Westin Horton Plaza.

The games are all night games so we will have some free time during

the day for a little casino hopping.

Though we have been to San Diego many times, we've never visited a

casino in CA, so I would welcome some informed advice from you folks.

I read Jim's (jimnkelli) excellent report and was disappointed to

learn that Harrahs Rincon is a VP wasteland. I did get lots of

valuable information from his post, and thank him for providing the

report.

I would appreciate any information on the following:

Which casino(s) are closest to downtown SD?

How long a drive would it be from downtown to the closest casino?

Do any of the casinos offer shuttle service from the downtown hotels

if we prefer not to drive?

If we only have time for one casino visit, which casino would

recommend?

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

~Babe~

Last time I checked, Valley View had full pay, triple play Super Aces at .25//50/1.00 which is also 99.9%.

I agree with everything posted but beware that barona has the auto
hold on all their VP machines. I personally don't like that but
some do.

Yes but Valley View is not close to downtown. It would be about an
hour drive from the Barona area.
