Today, Labor Day, I passed through the Palms and
found the stalwart Full Pay
Deuces Wild Progressive (25 cents) - gone. What a
sad note - it's been there for 6 years...
I noticed that the Palms 25c FPDW progressive wasn't
there today also. However, there was a new bank of
slant-tops with "Deuces Wild" on the face plate by the
buffet entrance. They were still out of service so I
couldn't see the paytable but maybe these are the FPDW
progressives being relocated.
Right across the street in the Gold Coast, I spotted
a new bank of machines
near the poker area that said "100% Video Poker". I
looked and found 10/7 DB
was back! (quarters). I didn't survey the entire
casino, so I don't know
if there was another bank of those machines...
Gold Coast has two banks of these over-100% payback
machines now. Both have 25c 10/7 DB, 10/6 DDB and
FPDW. In addition to the one by the poker area, the
other one is in front of the Ping Pang Pong Restaurant
about halfway across the floor.
