Casino Windsor

Terry; As I was walking from the Casher I passed the $1.00 machines and looked over the mans shoulder and saw the 1199 and 6000, Looked over another and saw the same, went two banks farther and saw 25 cent machines with the same payout, "MOST" were being played on both banks. The rate of exchange was 1.09 per 1.00 US. They took some VP machines from near the bridge and put in slots.

"also 2 banks of 25 cent Game Makers with full pay
pick-um."

Nick,

Are you sure that those 25 cent Pick'em machines were full
pay? The reason Dolores and I quit going there years ago was
because they took all those machines out. Can anyone else
confirm this?

I am moderating the forum from the Windsor side.
Some of the .50 machines are full pay.
There are no full pay .25 machines.
All pick'em has had bonus reward credits removed.
The speed of the machines has been reduced to a crawl.
$11=1 Reward credit

The end result is that it is a waste of time to play there.

Nick, make sure you get the entire pay table. I think non standard pick em pay tables are now available.

There is in fact a few .25 FP Pick em machines between the roulette tables and the computerized roulette wheels near the VIP room. Numerous .50 FP Pick em throughout the casino. All of the Pick em at Ceasars Windsor is painfully sssllllloooowwww.

Nick, make sure you get the entire pay table. I think non standard pick em pay tables are now available.

I went every Tuesday in July for the Tuesday multiplier of 2x,3x,4x, & 7x retro-active for all 4 visits at Caesars Windsor and only played the pickem during that time. All the .25/.50 & $1 denoms on the gamemakers have been changed to the exact same pay tables now for a payback of 99.95%, boy was I surprised by that find ! There are still some bad paytables in the high stakes area for the pickem so I stayed out of there, at the $5 and higher up denom.

Caesars is offering the same promo again for August on Tuesdays and I'll be doing it again, but this time it's better, it's 2x, 3x, 5x, and then 10x points for the last visit and then retro-active 10x points for all Tuesday play in August if you make all 4 visits.

Now that Greektown has shorted all the pickem games there, it's probably the best play for the 10x points if you are going to just play pickem anyway.

I did the same thing you did. Have you received your 7x points yet? Also, what do you think the expected value of this promotion is? I figured it at about .65% cash back. Also, did you play dollars or quarters ... the dollars took quite a hit on my bankroll.

Did you guys get a mailer with this offer, or is it open to everybody?

Does anyone have a link to this offer? I tried looking around their website and couldn't find anything on it.

I sure would be interested if the Pick'em qualifies.

The Tuesday multiplier offer at Windsor is good for everyone and it is in their monthly mailer that they send out. Even if you don't get a monthly mailer you can still go and get this promo, but you first have to register at the slot club or total rewards center FIRST, before you start to play. The instructions say to "swipe" your card before you begin your play, so I stuck my card into those ATM look-alike machines, but didn't see any option to register for this, so I went to the slot booth and they just take your card and register you. I think this prevents a lot of people, from using other players cards, lets say, you can only make it 2-3 trips and not the 4th trip, but if you have someone play 1 point on your card one week, that still would make it eligible for you to get the 10 x point on the last Tuesday then. In April, when I did this promo, you did not have to register, but just play on a Tuesday in order to receive it. When I presented my card every Tuesday in July at the total rewards booth, I just said I was here for the multiplier promo, handed them my card and they did not ask for any ID of any kind, and it only took like 5 seconds to register for it, so you might be able to get away with registering someone else, if you want to take that chance. I'm not sure if you can register another way. While I was standing in line at the ATM look-alike machines, a lady was instructing people to swipe and register for the promo, but I had already registered at the total reward center, so I really didn't pay attention, like I should have !

I could not find this promo advertised also on the website, but my sister is there right now and she said it is posted in the casino and being advertised and my monthly flyer also states it as a promotion. The July promo was on the website advertised under "promotions", but this one is not out there yet, and I pointed that out to them at the total rewards booth.

I also did this promo in April, but it was a 5 visit promo and the last visit was 10 x points also. This one in August is really better, because you only have to make 4 visits to get the 10 x promo, and the July one was only 7 x. The April promo was busy on a Tuesday and when I was there in July on Tuesday it was not busy at all.

In April, I think it took like 2-3 weeks after the last Tuesday for all of my additional points to show up. While I'm down there, I also stop at Greektown and then to Motor City, to pick up my weekly cash back there, and with Greektown Doubling the cash back offers at Windsor, I mean how can you not stop there !!! lol

My brother-inlaw and sister are in Windsor today and he got a $125 weekly cash back from Windsor, they stopped to Greektown and they gave him $250 cash back there, so for August he is getting $500 at Windsor and $1000 cash back at Greektown from the Windsor mailing ! I call that some very good cash back offers for one month.....

Len, while this is most likely true, playing 1 point will affect your trip average and lower your bounceback checks. Harrah's still uses a very complicated trip average calculation, so playing one point is not without its consequences.

Also, I have heard that CW has sent notes to people saying that since you picked up money but did not play, no money this month.

That's why casinos love bounceback instead of cashback. They can yank with the rules whenever they want.

I just got my multiplied points today, one week after the last day of the promo.

Unfortunately, I did not get a mailer from Caesars this month so I can take my offers to Greektown. I wonder if they will accept a printout of my TR offers page? I'm only getting 8x$5 this month, but every little bit helps...

Yes, they will take a printout of the TR offers page. I have done it each month.

Unfortunately, I did not get a mailer from Caesars this month so I can take my offers to Greektown. I wonder if they will accept a printout of my TR offers page? I'm only getting 8x$5 this month, but every little bit helps...

I was also advised that you can register at Total Rewards...

And that they are adding 1000 reward points to people who show up at the booth with a U.S. Passport this month.

(So I got the 1000 points and registered for 2x Tuesday yesterday at Total Rewards booth).

You register for the multiplier by the computer terminals by the Starbucks shop, near the "Visible Vault" machine (which used to be the "Spin for a Million" slot machine).
