Casino Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada

December 2007

there are 4 $2 gameking 10play machines with double bonus double
jackpot (100.09%) and 9/6 job

PKM full pay games are still here at the $2-$10 level... didnt
see any at $1

$1 triple/fiveplay pNSUD (98.91%)

they only accept canadien money here, despite being right on the
US border.

I was there last week, there are still lots of $ FP
Pick-Em, no changes to the inventory of the $ machines
that I could see.

A.P.

Re: [vpFREE_Detroit] Casino Windsor Update

One must be careful here. Admittedly, it's been a long time since I
was at
Windsor, but much of the over-$1 VP there featured a 2500-coin Royal.

I have a friend who comes to Casino Windsor from Ohio.

He has no trouble having US dollars accepted. (They exchange them for
Canadian ones so he can play). Surely, the writer doesn't expect the
machines to accept foreign currencies.

I was just checking the Casino Windsor website. They
do currency exchange at a very competitive rate. I
think this is a fair deal. You can even change your
money at the ticket redemption machines located all
around the floor.

As of 1/12/08, there were at least 20 $ PE machines.? I would question the $2 10 plays with JOB and/or Double Double jackpot but?I will look for those next time.? CW will short the royal to 2500 on the 9/6 JOB machines.

Albert,

How is 4% each way a fair deal?? Last time I used the exchange at CW, the official rate was $1 US = $0.9977 CAN.? I got $96 CAN for my $100 bill at CW.?

Two things.
One. You can't buy or sell money at the official rate
unless you are a bank. Ordinary citizens pay a Vig. to
banks to convert money. That is why I have a U.S.
dollar account for my travels to the U.S., it saves me
a ton of Vig.

Two. I just went to the CW website and checked their
conversion rate. At this moment $100 U.S. will buy you
$98 cdn. I then went to the TD bank website and
checked their rate, they will give you $97.85 for $100
U.S.

It may not be a fair deal, but it is as good as going
to your bank and a lot more convenient.

Yes the US to CDN may be competitive, but when you cash out they
don't give you the $100 US, then only give you $96 US. A bigger take
then the VP machines and they make it in an instant!
