Yes, this is true. The workers walked out on Saturday.

Do we, as video poker players, really give a flying fig whether
Windsor Casino is closed or not? While I sympathise with the workers
trying to make a fair wage, (I have made many friends there over the
years) I don't go there anymore because all they have left to play is
a few dollar and up Pick'Em machines. They used to have some other
decent vp games and some quarter and fifty-cent Pick'Em, but took
them out and changed the scale on Pick'Em to the "Rip-Off Pick'Em"
that only pays 50 on the straights and 20 on the threes.
Check out some of their inventory of great games:
A quarter Bonus game at 94.18%
" Deuces Wild 10/8/4/3
" 8/5 Double Bonus
" 6/5 Jack's or Better
A 50 cent progressive White Hot Aces at 96.38%
A dollar progressive 7/5 JB
" 10/8/4/3 Deuces Wild
These are just a few of the lousy games that they offer. It shows
that they absolutely have no respect for the intelligence of players
who frequent their gambling emporium. Their marketing strategy stinks
and it's no wonder that the Detroit casinos are killing them.
So if they went out of business tomorrow, although I would feel
terrible for the workers, it shouldn't bother any vp players in the
area.
