Casino Wien

Hi BL....

We were there a couple of months ago. That casino at
Karnter Strasse doesn't have much to offer since it
doesn't have any VP (yet). Their main attraction is
comprised of roulette, blackjack, Carribean stud, and
seven card stud poker. Other casinos are opening up.
All major currencies are accepted but one has to make
exchange to euros or tokens before getting into the
casino floor (much like at Monter Carlo in Monaco).
Gamingwise, you'll always wish you were in good old
Vegas :-)! Enjoy the Austrian sceneries.

Perhaps it is a good thing that there is no VP at the Casino Wien. Then, we
won't be tempted to try even a few euro's, just to "keep our skills up". :slight_smile:

My wife and I did stroll through the Admiral Casino in the Prater (the big
amusement park in the north of Wien) this afternoon. They had some odd
version of what we took to be Joker Poker, called "American Poker". We
watched a bit, but, strange to say, neither one of us were even a bit tempted.
We were not even convinced that it really was VP.

In any case, we might just walk into the Casino Wien this evening just to see
what it looks like. If there is anything interesting, we will write up a short
report.

My wife and I will just have to wait for our quarterly trip to Las Vegas next
month. We usually stay at the LVH. In Vienna, we are also staying at a Hilton,
helping to maintain our "gold" status in the Hilton Honors program. Thank
God for small favors. :slight_smile:
