I too discovered Casino Royale about 3 years ago after 25 years of going to
Vegas. I get the monthly room offers, coupons and $20 free play. I have
given them some pretty heavy play including this last trip I just returned
from. Now I just discovered something I hadn't known about their slot club which
really pissed me off. After two days of playing and building up around
$45-50 cash back I went back a few days later while staying at the Venetian to
get my July coupons only to discover all my cash gone. When I inquired about
this I was informed by the boothling that the cash is removed from your
account after 48 hours. I asked where this was posted and she said nowhere. They
refused to do anything about it except give me the name of the idiot who made
up this rule who I intend to call. For July I played the minimum to take
the full value of the coupons and left without any extra play. I intend to do
this and use the three free days until my food comp. account, currently at
$166, is empty. Has anyone ever heard of such a stupid policy of removing
your cash after 48 hours? If I ever get a hold of the moron who made this
rule up and she doesn't do anything about it, I'm taking my play elsewhere,
they can keep their rooms, I don't need them.
I just returned from a 21 day stay(all comped) and found that the different
casinos were falling over themselves to try to accomadate me and my play. I
have never received so may discretional comps. had hosts giving me their
cards and asking me to call them next time I visit. I could not use all the food
comps I was offered and have that were issued which I didn't use. I play 5
play .25cent video poker for the most part. In Feb. I walked over to see
the Plazzao and played for about an hour and a half between there and the
Venetien which brought me an offer of 3 comped nights and a slot tournament at the
Venetien for this trip. I never expected this. Its obvious these places
are hurting and its only going to get worse as the airlines cut more and more
flights out of Vegas and less people make the drive from California. Nothing
was really crowded except for the Rio at times because of the WSOP. I did
manage to play in one WSOP event and make a final table at Ceaser's Mega Stack
tournament. Five royals during the trip including a $2000, .10cent royal
at Terribles on Super Times Pay with the 5X multipler.
A run down on the offers I used:
Orleans 2 free nights and $25 food.
Ballys, 2 free nights and $50 Macy's Gift card (they ran out of cards and
gave me $50 cash.)
Casino Royal, 3 free nights
Orleans 3 free nights and $250 Macy's Gift Card
Harrahs 5 free nights
Venetian 3 free nights and free slot tournament
Terribles 2 free nights and $100 Free Play
Gold Coast 3 free nights with $10 food credit per day.
Note: A couple nights were double booked to take advantage of the offers.
Plus I booked 4 free nights at the Plaza for my brother who used the room.
