Casino Rama's "Hot New Games"

A couple of banks of video poker machines had "Hot New Game" signs on
them last week. I checked them out.

One of them was the new $2 triple action poker machines I mentioned
in a previous post. Compared to all the other triple action
machines, these offer a 9 unit payout on a full house, rarher than 8,
and only 10 credits are needed to achieve a full royal payout, rather
than 20.

The other was one side of the back to back machines near the side
entrance of the high limit area. They have been changed to "$2"
machines from $5. However, it takes 10 credits, or $20 per hand, to
get a full royal payout. The $5 machines required, and the remaining
ones continue to require, only 5 credits, or $25 per hand. I do not
believe any changes were made to the games offered, so 9/6 JOB and
9/7 DB continue to be the best games on them.

Hot new games? I hardly think so.

Neil

Too bad, I got excited when I read the subject of the post.
