Recently, while poking around various machines, games and paytables,
I came across one I hadn't noticed before. I wrote it down, and when
I checked it out at home, was surprised at what I found.
The game is bonus poker deluxe. The 9/6 version (99.64%) is
available on the four "$2" multi game machines outside the side
entrance to the high limit slot area. All the rest of the machines
that have this game on them have the 8/6 version (98.49%).
This is not a particularly attractive play to me. Ten credits must
be played to get the full royal payout, making the game the
equivalent of a $4 one, and a bit beyond my comfort level. As well,
due to Rama's peculiar treatment of higher denomination video poker
players, the 9/6 JOB on the triple/five play still offers a higher
overall theoretical payback.
Still, the game itself is the highest payback in the casino.
