Casino Rama Tiers

Just wondering:
What does it take to obtain (maintain) Gold Status? Platinum Status?

Also, is there REALLY a "diamond club" level? If so, what does it take
to get that?

Also, have you ever eaten at the buffet in the Baccarat area? If so, is
it any good? Does security check your status, or is there a realistic
chance that a shmoe like me could walk in there and eat?

Thank you for whatever help you can give.

I wish I could be of more help BUT, Casino Rama does not publish or tell you the amount
of play required to change levels.

I went from Gold to Platinum very quickly. I believe there is still a Daimond level, and it would
be for the real highrollers. For a reference I put in about 10k -15k per trip, once a month, and
that has given me Platinum status for the past few years. I believe you coul acheive this with
even less play, but I have no proof.

The buffet in the Baccarat area is the Platinum Lounge. You usually have to show your Platinum
card to gain admittance. It is OK for a light snack but that is about it.

I don't know for sure what it takes to achieve and maintain the various
levels, including diamond. When my wife and I started playing at Rama
about four years ago, we quickly advanced to gold, and then, platinum,
and have stayed there ever since. Up until now, we have played mostly
the triple/five play machines. If you want a guess, I would venture
that somewhere around $8000 coin-in per day would achieve platinum
status.

By "the buffet in the Baccarat area" do you mean the Platinum Lounge?
It's not great, but its certainly adequate for a quick snack or meal.
You have to present a platinum card to get in there, so the liklihood
that you could score a meal there without being platinum is minimal.
