Casino Rama - Point Accumulation on New Machines.

Has anyone had a concern with the rate of point accumulation on the new
triple/five/ten play machines?

I ask the question because, yesterday, at the completion of about four
hour's play (10 line, $12.50 per play, at no less, I'm sure, than 700
hands per hour), I was credited with only 1000 points or so, which
equates to $15000 of play. I feel my play was probably in the $35000
range. It was the same for my wife - her points for the day, at around
1300, were grossly less than her play deserved.

We spent considerable time with the attendant at the high limit slot
desk, and even more with an assistant slot manager trying to get the
situation rectified, but I'm not very optimistic about our chances.

When I played these machines, I felt that I was getting the right number of points. I will admit
that I wasn't paying close attention. One good thing about the Rama system is that the points are
displayed as they accumulate. All you have to do is count your coin in for a couple of hands and
watch the point meter and you will know for sure if you are getting the correct points.
I will check it more closely the next time I go.

I wonder if something went on between the time you were there and our
visit. Our points were definitely not right. In fact, they have added
881 to my wife's points, and 1142 to mine.

We are going there tomorrow, and will definitely play a fixed amount
through, and see what points are awarded.

How was your bonus cash relative to your points? In our case, the rate
of bonus cash on the incorrect points was lower than expected.

My bonus cheque seemed to be correct. Again I wasn't keeping close track but I did put through
more coin than my average trip. This was about 5 weeks ago so they may have screwed something up
in the interim. It will be interesting to see your report from your upcoming trip.

Here is what I determined.

I played a fixed amount through a machine and found that the session
counter was, indeed, recording my play correctly. I played 24 hands
of 25c 10 play JOB ($300 coin-in), and the counter correctly
indicated 20 points.

What I subsequently found, however, was that the session totals
indicated on the counter were not being added correctly to my overall
point total.

After playing that fixed amount, I played half an hour. At the end of
that play, the counter indicated 323 points. When I checked my point
total, only 152 points had been added, not 323.

I ran a second half hour test, but messed it up by not recording the
session points before an attendant took my card out for a hand pay.
My estimate is that I put on about 230 points, but my account total
went up by only 78.

A third half hour test produced a session count of 320 points. Only
120 were credited to my account.

This morning, all 6 of these machines were out of service. The
technician told me that they were installing new computer chips
because of problems they were having with the points.

My suggestion to anyone playing these machines is to keep very
careful track of your points, and make sure session totals are
correctly credited to your account.

That is very helpfull information. Thanks .
