Casino Rama Comp Rate

What is the approximate level of play required nowadays at Casino Rama
(on VP) for:

1. The "free" $40 meal coupon in the newsletter?
2. The "free" hotel stay in the newsletter?
3. Earned comps from VIP services?

Just curious. Thank you for your help.

I can't help much with this. I have always felt that, as a
guideline, earned comps are about the same as cashback (0.33%). But,
that's only a guess.

As for the first two questions, I really don't have a clue. I do
know that there are different levels of offers in the newsletter, but
have no idea whatsoever what it takes to get the basic newsletter,
nor what is needed to advance from lower level offers to the higher
ones.

There are different restrictions on each level.. i.e. when you can use the coupons.

I believe I get the top level coupons
2x 40 meal coupons good 7 by 24.
1 free hotel day per month any day of the week.
Comps to all of the restaurants.

I am at the Platinum level and I believe you need this designation in order to get food comps at
the steak house and the Italian Restaurants.
I usually go out there around once a month, sometimes twice. I will usually put through between
10k - 15k coin in per trip all on quarter VP.

Hope this info helps

We are both platinum, and each receive these same monthly offers. I
think you're right in thinking this is the top level. (While you
didn't mention concert tickets, I assume you're entitled to free
tickets to all concerts as well).

We visit Rama, on average, every two weeks or so, mostly just for the
day, but sometimes overnight(the free rooms are tough to get).
Normally, our daily play has been $20000-$30000 each.

Neil

Neil: I do get the concert offers also. The original request didn't mention them, so neither did
I.

It would be interesting to determine what level of play is required to get the comps that you and
I get. You obviously put in more play than me, but we get the same offers.
I used to play more at Rama, but now I give Niagara more of my play. It is a much better value at
Niagara, as long as you like Pick-Em that is. $30,000 at Niagara will give you $150 cash back and
a bounce back cheque, that is around $120.

We just received our September offers. They are better than what we
have been getting.

Concert tickets have been doubled, from two per show to four. The
room offer is for four nights, not the one we've always had up to now.

I've tried to develop a liking for pick'em, but the game just does
not seem to "turn my crank". I know a lot of people feel that same
way about the JOB that I can play for hours. We are all wired a
little differently. (A lot of people can't understand how I can sit
at any video poker machine for hours).

I think if we were closer to Niagara, we would probably work a little
harder to like pick'em. But, for us, 55 minutes driving time to
Rama, versus about 2 1/2 hours to Niagara, is a compelling factor.

Neil

Neil : I just received my mailer also. There are 2 differences between yours and mine.
Mine gives me 2 tickets for any 3 shows and 2 nights hotel (unrestricted) and the 2 $40 food
coupons (unrestricted)which I assume you also receive.
So it seems there is a new level of mailer.
I guess I am lucky, position wise I am 1.25 hours away from Niagara and Rama.
