Have you ever been to that particular casino?
I haven't been there but let me give you one more thing to think
about. To
get to Pahrump it is a trip over a mountain pass and if it is
very snowy, you
will have to use chains (literally they are required for one
access to
Pahrump). I'd reconsider a visit that time of year.

I've had a room a number of times at Saddle West...the rooms are
nothing fancy, but the price was reasonable. (I've gotten free
night offers via the slot club.) The place always seems pretty busy
and the buffet is passable. A pretty good selection of "almost full
pay, but I won't get involved with that discussion" video poker and,
best of all for those of you with that point of view, a large non-
smoking area.
They've got a large RV park, if that's the way you travel. And if
you get sick of the place, you can go up the street to the Nugget or
Terrible's. Or over to that new "Mountain View" place. You can go
up to the mall and kill some time, too, but don't spend any time
looking for "downtown" because there isn't one. Or, if you feel
adventurous, you can take the short drive out of town and have lunch
in the sports bar half of one of those places that Pahrump is famous
for.
I don't think there's a casino in the whole town that I'd describe
as a "sawdust joint".
