It seems that this book has at least one of the same "ills that
plagued the first". What I mean is that I found many of the things
Jean said in the origional "Frugal Gambler" book not-at-all hard to
believe about(casinos and/or the gambling scene in) Vegas, but
considerably harder to believe when it comes to(casinos and/or the
gambling scene) elsewhere(AC for example).
For example: In this excerpt(from the sequel), Jean says that
casinos will often allow you to combine action from two accounts
and "pool" the resulting comps, food, overnights, etc. I don't find
this At All "hard to believe" of many/most of the casinos @LV. But,
when it comes to other gambling locales - including(but not only)
Atlantic City - I find that Very "hard to believe".
When I was reading her first(excellent, entertaining, informative,
and highly recommended) book, I often found myself asking myself "Is
she speaking here of LV only, or of the overall gambling
scene/casinos everywhere?". Looks like that'll still be the case
when I get and read the sequel.

I tried to be very careful to use many qualifiers when I made a lot of my statements - "most" instead of "all" - "some" instead of "many" - "probably" - "usually" - etc. etc.

This example that you give is a perfect example. I said that OFTEN this is the case. I did not mention specific examples where it was or wasn't "true." I have found it true in a lot of casino, and not just in Vegas. I only gave this as a hint that you MIGHT be able to use, an idea you might not have thought of.
This book is not the Word of God!!!!!
