I was checking in to a casino and overheard a discussion over
whether to comp me for a second room on that stay. We had friends
with us and I arranged for their room to be at the casino rate, mine
was comped, and the host behind the counter said " he is a level 6
player comp the other room ". I make 2-3 trips a month to the casino
for one day and play $1 JOB. Does anyone know what the casino level
systems are and what different levels might be entitled to?

Every Casino has their own system, some are very up front about it (station and Harrah's and Stratosphere- Arizona Charlies, have different card levels that are reasonably well defined as to their cost and benefits. The others use voodoo and hate telling where you are . On top of that, they sometimes change systems abruptly to confuse everybody.
All you can do is ask and check out the vpFREE database for the best information.
