Yah, the shuttle is your best option even if you want to just visit
the falls. You can take the shuttle for free while if you want to
park at the Falls you have to pay. We often take the shuttle to
casino and don't even go in but head to Clifton Hill or the Falls.
The shuttle lot is at the corner of Stanley and route 420. If you
cross over at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls you just need to
drive five minutes on route 420 and make a left on Stanley.
There are really few playable video poker games there. 7/5 JOB and
9/6 DDB, Colorado deuces and $5 8/5 JOB. The video poker is so bad
that I find I do better on slots there. I often see people winning
jackpots on slots. For instance I won $250 on slots a couple of
months ago waiting for the .25 cent pick'em to open up. The black
is often at high minimums as well but I love the fact that they have
a large non smoking floor.
But try those .50 cent pick'em games. They are busy but they are a
good bet. Also if you book your hotel through the casino you get
$10 free each day of your stay.
Well we just booked a trip up to Niagara Falls, staying at The
Marriott
Fallsview May 24th & 25th. They tell me there is a shuttle that
takes you
to the casino. So I'll be looking for the .50 & $1 Pick'em. I
checked the
vpFREE database to see where they are located. Are they still in
the same
location? Are there any other playable games not listed in the
database?
Thanks.

The lone 25 cent full pay pick'em machine on the first level is
out
of action. The whole first level is being renovated and all
machines on the level were out of order. Who knows if it will
return. The .50 cent and $1 pick'em machines are still in the
Casino.
I heard from the Casino Niagara shuttle bus driver (I don't know
how
reliable he is)that the new and old Canadian Niagara casinos will
have different slot clubs cards and the tokens between the two are
non transferable. Oh, those crazy Canadians.
On a bright note, I saw that in the high limit area that there are
$5 8/5 JOB machines. Don't everyone book that trip to Niagara
Falls
