I just got back from Casino Niagara ( note this is the old casino not
the new Falls View Casino). The data base is correct in stating that
there is full pay 50 cent ( canadian) pick'em. There are 5 gamemakers
with full pay pick'em on the second level ( non- smoking floor) near
the escalator. On the 3rd floor there are 40 to 50 fifty cent and 1$
pick'em with less than full pay. They pay only 4 for 3 of a (per coin
in)and pay 10,000 for royals with other different pays for other
hands which I didn't record. I presume this is some standard psuedo
pick'em but do not know the payback.
Since I live in Erie PA there are bus trips to the Canadian Casino's
in Niagara Falls area which give 15$ Canadian in free play for the
bus trip. This makes it much cheaper to take the bus than driving my
own car. My wife and I also had 10$ in a sort of bounce back cash
from an earlier trip to the Falls View Casino. Since I am not a very
high roller I did not check whether the BLOG was corect on the full
pay 5$ pick'em when I was there.
Other than pick'em I could not find anything above about 98% to play.
But did not do a complete investigation since our time was limited.
We played 800 hands of 50 cent pick'em and did not hit anything
better than some flushes and straights, and ended up losing 140$
Canadian which translates to 93% return. It will be interesting to
see if we get any better bounce back offers in the mail.
Since this is not about Vegas I hope you don't mind this long
discourse.
We get to Vegas twice a year and are only nickel and quarter players.
But I enjoy reading all the information and lively dicussions on
VPFREE.
