Casino Movie

Wonder if this where they got the inspiration for the new "reality" TV
series "Casino". Could only watch the degradation of one of my favorites (Golden
Nugget - Las Vegas) before switching. Hopefully not many people will ever see
this either.

I watched a movie dealing with Indian casinos yesterday, called 49
Palms. Complete trash. It had virtually nothing to do with Indian
casino gaming. The "Indians" were smoking peace pipes, in full
costume, while doing a war dance around their victims. Meanwhile
strippers in beaded Indian costumes danced nearby, in front of the
slot players. The chief hired a hit man to kill an undercover FBI
guy. The casino surveillance included the womens/mens restroom
stalls. The casino itself looked like an auto repair garage from the
outside. And I've mentioned only a few of the "mistakes". I can
only imagine what impression this makes on citizens in another state,
or abroad. Thankfully, I don't think many people will ever see this
movie.>>>
