Casino Montelago

We were at monte lago on the 13th in the afternoon and did notsee a checkpoint. The casino is small and quiet and a lot of machines are less then full pay. We collected out 2,000 points no problem and just played long enough to reach the 4,000 needed for the free play. I was lucky enough to hit a royal on a .50 machine so it was a nice trip. For me it was just to far out to be worth the drive and unless that area booms they may have a hard time. Who owns it? I have heard different answers. Luck to all. Rick

Just to correct this "a lot of machines are less than full pay" --

Almost every one of the hundreds of Game Kings (and they have all kinds of labels, mostly specific games like Deuces Wild although they all have all games) has full pay Double Bonus, Jokers and, I think, DDB. Only a few banks have FPDW, the rest have NSU. I only know of one machine that has less than FP, and that is the one in the upstairs bar that projects on the wall. Because of the sequential royals, most of the other games have a theoretical > 100%.

But FP is only at quarters (I think the FP ducks are also FP at nickels). There is no FP at 50c or $.

For the quarter player it is heaven, especially if they start multi-point times again.

The current scratch card promotion is a total waste, since there are extremely long odds against getting more than the consolation prizes (you must pick the 5 squares out of 25 that have $ symbols. You only get five chances. The scratch cards are produced by Cash For Life, not MonteLago).
