Casino MonteLago is located in Henderson, NV. A few miles east of
Boulder Highway and Lake Mead Parkway, in the community known as
Lake Las Vegas. This areas zip code has the highest valuations in
all of Clark County.
But given all that, MonteLago is a small casino that likely will
never show a profit. I am talking small. It might be one of the
smallest casinos I have ever been in. They marketed themselves as a
VP players dream, then went crazy when some players took them up on
their offers (which have been well documented and/or deleted here).
The last time I was there, they still had signage touting
themselves, even though many of the positive play games were long
gone.
For me, it was a 56 mile round trip. Tolerable when gas prices were
lower and offers were better. But now, not worth it. I actually
tried to do them a favor 8 months ago. I called and requested to be
removed from their mailer list. Was told I had to do in in person.
So of course, the mailer shows up every month with they same weak
offers and goes into the trash. The over/under on when the mailers
stop has been set at one year.
So where is the Monte Largo? I can't dechipher the intended main
message
either. Does anyone else have a clue?
