I made it out there this week just to see whether the "reviews" I read
were true. What a great place! Very good VP and just a great place to
hang out.

When you want a break from playing VP, I recommend checking out the
veranda just outside from the upstairs bar (where the 'sports book' is
BTW). Try checking it out on a weekday when it's not too crowded.
There are nice over-stuffed chairs to "veg" out on and it's just a
real neat place to chill out. Very peaceful.

Plus, for you "malt beverage" fans in the group, they have a good
selection of brewski's on tap, including Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...one
of the true works of art to result from the micro-brew craze that
started in the 90's (IMHO)

Good beer and good VP. What more can a person ask for? (Well, I guess
there are a few things, but these 2 warrant a place on the top of the
list)

I rarely agree with many traditionalists on anything video poker. But this I believe is the first time I've read something that is 100% in-line with my beliefs. At first i thought I wrote it. If you spend hours playing vp at Az. Charlie's or Gold Coast or Orleans or Fiesta, do yourself a favor and check this place out. If you don't like the cleanliness or the ambience or the vp or the overall class, feel free to go back to dodging junk cars on Rancho or Decatur.
