Just got back from a nice trip to Las Vegas. Took full advantage of
Mr. Wynn's earn 50 points and score 2 buffets. The buffets were
outstanding as witnessed by the crowds even during mid week. An
awesome casino.
Casino Monte Lago is a VP wasteland for the =< .25 player. I finally
asked the slot attendant what happened since last January, he said
management completely decimated all the full pay machines. The Nevada
gaming commision should be on them form false advertising, they still
have signage boasting "Over 600 100% Payback machines". What a rip!
Not one red cent was spent on this mausoleum of poker. The locals were
not there like last January either.

Speaking of false advertising, I was walking past a bank of machines at the Stratosphere, and each machine has a "100% payback" label on it. Problem is, several of them are 9/7 Double Bonus! The rest are 10/7 DB and 15/8 LDW. And the 2 people that were playing Double Bonus were playing on the 9/7 machines!
Seems like a big no-no to claim a machine is 100% when it isn't.

if you check the fine print it probably says "up to" 100% payback with
perfect play "on select machines in this area", also for some reason
casinos are slow to take the signs down after they downgrade the paytable

I agree with irdd. I played the quarter 10/7 DB progressive in the
Tappo Lounge at Monte Lago on Wednesday night. If the original poster
is talking about the under 25 cent player(if that is what =< means),
there is still 10/6 DDB available at the nickel level because I also
played that.
