In scanning through the digests, my eye caught the "4x" & "Pick'Em" which
triggered a memory of a highly lucrative promotion. (Note: 4x is my notation
for 4-of-a-kind or quad.)
A small, unsophisticated casino had a quad promotion with a bonus on every
quad. Needless to say this is very strong & converts a lot of bad games into
very playable games. During the limited playing hrs, best way to take
advantage is to maximize hph on games that have a high frequency. Well a high-roller
wanted to beat them bad so he chose $5 Pick'Em!
Wouldn't you know it, in the space of a few hrs, he hit several quads + a
royal. All the people playing $ 10-plays were very happy for him.
Name of casino withheld in the hopes that promotion might return. It won't
be that good of a play anyway as the Pick'Em machines won't be included in the
promotion.
