Businesses do many things that border on the unethical. The regulations are lax, the atmosphere now for business regulation is extremely loose, and th eenforcement minimal. Spying on th Internet isn't new, and they will join th egroups in secret. I have no problem with them joining the groups if they would be up front about it. After all, I don;t hide the fact that I can play certain games with a net + score and others with a net plus score after comps and cashback are figured in. Unfortunately, unless anti-discrimination laws are broken, the casinos are given the option of refusing service to anyone in Nevada. Thus if you post something that the casinos would use against you (such as how much you won on a REGULAR basis from XYZ casino, they might look up your account nad tkae action against you. I suggest that one avoid postings like this and only give this information where it is required such as on your 1040. However, the casinos have the right to use th epay tables they desire as long as they are in accordance with Gaming regulations. They do not owe us a living in any way. We have to recgonize their right. Now, from a marketing point of view, they might do better having looser pay tables, but some management doesn't believe this and thinks that the tighter the pay tables, the more they make. We can help by not playing lousy pay tables and letting our friends and family know this as well. If you have a friend that plays DB at a place where a FH pays 9 per coin, and you tell him or her of a place that pays 10 per coin, you have got the right idea. No business makes money on every customer. In San Diego both Ralph's and Von's have double coupons. They control it from abuse by limiting redemption oif like items to 3 per customer per visit. Thye don't have a problem if you and a friend go shopping together and each have 3 of the same thing rung up as it's no difference to them from thr customer behind you taing advanatage of th esame promotion. They use the double coupons to bring people in to the store. They also do get an allowance from the manufacturer on the double coupon redemptions as well. Thus, the same is true in VP. Let the casnos put in the games they want, but likewise, let us play where it is best for us. Competition, even though not a free market (*the avg person cannot just open his or her own casno) will regulate the types of games available. As long as you don;t act like a donkey or hog you should be able to play the good games when and where available. If a casino employee reads this, so be it, but at least be upfront about your snooping. If I can be ethical so you, Mr. or Mrs. casino Spy.

I don't agree that it is a privilege .
Full Pay VP is a lure, just like in fishing.
The Casino wants to catch the fish, and the fish want to steal the bait.
The Casino is in business to make money, so are the skilled players, that is what makes it fun. Nobody wants to gamble the Casinos don't like to gamble, and the Skilled players are investing.The attitude of many on this group (myself include) are like any shoppers on the day that the grocery flyers come out. Who has what on sale this week, and that is where I will shop. If my favorite grocery store stops carrying the products that I like or raises their prices I go elsewhere. What makes Vegas great is the competition.

As a new person looking in, it appears there is a feeling among many in this group that full pay vp is a right that the casinos must give us. It appears that what is lost among the group is the fact that the casinos are in business to make money- full pay machines are a privilege they can choose to extend or not.
