Casino Gaming...Dancer

I am not a frequent poster because a wise man once counselled me, "If ya got nothin' to say, don't say nothin'." (His other piece of sage advice was that "opinions are like sphincters--everybody's got one and we all know what they're good for".) But a recent post compels me to go against that sage advice and say something and voice an opinion. One of our fellow members posted that he finds some posts by a noted authority "wearisome". I think I know what he means because there's some controversy here about product promotion. But I don't find it wearisome at all. We get great help from some of the best minds in video poker like Bob Dancer, Jean Scott, Jazbo Burns, Dan Paymar and others (Skip, Tom Robertson, Scot Krause, great stories from veterans like Mickey Crimm) for free. Borrowing a ploy from Dub, let me re-phrase that. For FREE! For nothing! If this were a golf forum it would be like having Tiger, Phil, Ernie, Vijay, Annika etc., as fellow members all just kicking in because that's what they do. In a normal world people would have to pay big bucks for advice from the Pro's and we get it all for nothing, nay, they seem genuinely glad to share it with us. This is a tight little community, this VP community, and we're lucky to be a part of it. If one or another experts falls prey now and again to common foibles of humanity, that's okay by me. For me, the positives outweigh the negatives. To err is human, to forgive Divine. End of opinion. (Let the flames begin.)

Hear hear! Great opinion! Thanks for sharing.

Amen. I really appreciate that free advise and sharing. If a
little product promotion and difference of opinion pops up once in a
while so be it. If we all agreed on everything all the time this
would be one boring forum.
