My guess is that the vast majority of members of this board stay away from
net gaming, but this article is a slap in the face for anyone who is
considering taking a shot, opening an account, spending time at a net site
that is not operated by one of the majors. In essense, it says wake up
before it's too late! It's incredible that some people will blast tribal
gaming as unregulated, then log onto a net site for a session or two!
If nothing else, spending time with this group shows people the value of
correct strategy, good game selection, and for those who are interested,
special perks in the form of comps, cash back, etc...all in a regulated
atmosphere where the "fairness" of games is guaranteed by the government.
That anyone would follow this well thought out advice and then go to a net
site is ludicrous.
I'm not against legalizing net gambling, but without strict oversight,
players are doomed. This was an excellent article.
