This is why Las Vegas will always be the number one gaming mecca. The
current tax rate is only 6.5%, which pales in comparison to the rest of the
states. Nevada casinos will most certainly always be able to return more
money to the player than those in the rest of the U.S. due to the tax issue
alone. Volume and competition in Las Vegas also contribute to a better
return for the player.
