Casino At Seas Benefits

Curious if anyone on this group has sailed with CAS recently with more then 2 in their room.

In the past we have booked 2 rooms-- one in my name and one in my husbands (both through CAS - mine comped except fees and his half price or less) we put 4 (20 somethings) kids in the other room. But since both rooms were booked through CAS everyone in both rooms got the drink card for the casino. I am using a new cruise consultant and he is telling me that only the primary CAS member gets the card. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this change?

thanks

Trish

Haven’t sailed with more than 2 in a room, but as of end of March, the bride got a green drink card while I got the yellow card, so it was not just the primary CAS member. Is the cruise consultant from CAS or is he an outside, independent agent?

It was a CAS agent. He told me they never give drink cards to all in the room. I told him they gave my 2 cabins 7 of them last August and 6 of them the trip before that!

I think he just doesn’t really know about them…or that was what I was hoping-- that they haven’t changed it!

Anyone have a good CAS agents name/extension? The one I had been working with previously seems to no longer be working there! ugh!

CAS seems to be such a crap shoot…you call one day and they quote you one thing and the next something different. Don’t like the answer you got…try again the next day!

You have it right, it is a crap shoot on who you get within the CAS dept. They seem to be trained NOT to develop ongoing relationships and encourage you to just call the general CAS number and talk to whomever is available. I don’t think any of the land based reps, nor the hosts on the ships really fully understand the program and I’ve talked to so many of both. CET also lost their old NCL representative that accompanied cruises full time to RCL, so his great knowledge and council with Caesar guests was a big loss.
