casino annoyances

Palms - I played 5 play DDB today and was told the coupon for 125 bonus
credits for 6s,7s,8s quads was no good at that machine because it was labeled
"this machine not eligible for promotions." Why not? The coupon didn't state
that any machines would be excluded, and I was not playing a 100% better or FP
game. Argh! (fortunately I hit a Royal for $4000 there today).

Gold Coast - 5x points - they don't show up immediately - you have to wait a
few days (or more). We still can't figure out why we are getting mailers we
get. My husband didn't play much at all for last 2 months, suddenly his
mailer goes from D to B now it is A. Huh??? (good news, I hit a 2nd royal
there today)

Harrahs New Orleans - I'm still waiting for my missing 9000 or so base
points from March. I was told that they would appear "by tonight" - that was 3
weeks ago. Meanwhile my offers from N.O. are lower than they should be,
cashback for that weekend is lower, and I don't have the points or comps. Argh!

Paris Vegas - Host often cannot be reached. He says he never got my 3 phone
calls left on answering machine or email. Another host there told me same
thing. Is there a problem with their answering machine? I don't know.
Meanwhile I finally got a hold of him and he was interrupted by 4 incoming calls
while he was calling me back - within like 3 minutes! Why does he carry 2 or 3
phones? Why does he answer them? He was also extremely busy with incoming
phone calls when I saw him in person. Why is he so overworked. Argh. I'm 7
Stars - does me no good.

Paris Vegas - a different host (the other one who couldn't get email or
phone calls) tells my husband he needs to play to get offers. He plays for over
an hour on 5 play $1 machine, over 3000 base points. Husband tries to book an
offer he didn't receive, host says he didn't play enough - he needs to play 4
hours a day. Hey - 5 play is 5 lines, so 1 hour is equivalent to 5 hours
of $1 single line play. Argh.

Venetian - I play really really heavy ($5 reels and VP) in Jan. at Palazzo
Grand Opening. Up to then my locals mailers were for $100 or $200 cashback
per week. But in April I get only $25 a week. In May I get $50 a week.
Casino host can't provide a reasonable answer as to why. My best guess is they
are now using a 12 month average to determine mailers, instead of shorter
average or yearly total, still, argh. And despite that really heavy play, I
don't get an invite to opening of Jersey Boys. Why am I invited to Palazzo Grand
Opening, but after super heavy play (for me) now no longer qualify? Again,
I suspect change to 12 mo average, but it is annoying. Meanwhile host offers
to comp me to Jersey Boys whenever I go anyway. That is good news. Then
comes bad news, host has left property. But maybe new host will comp me.

Wynn - several months ago my husband is told at Red Card booth he has about
8 or more buffets worth of comp credit. We eat 2 buffets. Next month we go
back, Red Card booth says he has 0 buffet credits. Next month (despite
play) he still has 0 buffet credits. What the h...? (Good news, very nice host
will comp us buffets anyway...still....what the h...?)

Anyway, argh! Thanks for letting me vent.

Well, there you have it. In this age of impressive technology,
apparently humans cannot tell the truth. Of course, it could just be
a series of coincidences. Random?

Anyway, is it just me or has the Wynn buffet gone done to the C
range?

Finally, the P.C. correct term is "WTF?"
