I wonder if this is the way it works OR whether the extra bonus

Based on my very non-scientific study, the extra bonus points seem to
come as you play longer on ONE machine in ONE day. And it definitely
does NOT apply to all machines. Some machines will give you the same
ratio of bonus/base no matter how long you play them.
But I don't believe card pulling makes a difference. I have played
certain machines at Harrah's where I'll notice the bonus points start
to accumulate at a much faster rate after a lot of play, and I take
my card out of the machines frequently. I take my card out every 500
or 1000 points just to make sure the central computer is actually
collecting my points. I also take out my card when I come back from
a restroom break just to make sure no one has substuted a different
card into the machine while I'm gone. Cards will also get pulled
during W2-G events. With all these interruptions to the "session", I
should in theory never get the accelerated bonus points if I had to
leave my card in the machine full time. But since I HAVE noticed the
accelerated bonus points, I can only conlude that removing the card
doesn't "restart the clock" on that machine.
